Bio

Luvna CAUSSY was born in Mauritius in 1986. She received the BSc (Hons) degree in Agriculture with specialization in Aquaculture from the University of Mauritius in 2009. She joined the Ministry of Ocean Economy, Marine Resources, Fisheries and Shipping as Technical Officer in 2010 and has been working on the Offshore Demersal Fishery Project at the Albion Fisheries Research Centre. She has enrolled as MPhil/PhD part-time student at the University of Mauritius since 2012. Being from a tropical island, her hobbies had always been swimming and snorkeling. This had eventually led to her interest in marine related topics.
