STUDENT TRAVEL SUPPORT BURSARY APPLICATIONS
In support of this year’s 6th Southern African Marine Linefish Symposium, held between 19 and 23 August 2024 at Mpekweni Beach Resort in the Eastern Cape, South Africa, Innovasea is providing financial support for five postgraduate students looking to attend the symposium, each travel award valued at R10 000. This will cover the normal student conference package (registration, meals and accommodation, single room), with some money for travel.
Students who are currently busy with or interested in projects making use of Innnovasea equipment (see www.innnovasea.com for more), either fish tracking equipment or environmental loggers, as well as on marine linefish species, are especially encouraged to apply.
In order to apply for travel support, please complete this form and submit to atap@saiab.ac.za by Monday, 01 July 2024. Successful applicants will be notified by Monday, 15 July 2024.
