Ever since I was young I have shared a passion for the ocean and marine life. With fishing as more of a lifestyle than a hobby, I grew a strong love for fishand gaining an understanding about them. Once I heard about the Ichthyology department at Rhodes, I knew where I was heading. I now share my passion for fish and the sport of angling through my Youtube page, where I hope to promote ethical practice and catch and release. I am also the Chair of the Rhodes University Fly Fishing Club. I now am doing my honours whereby I will be tracking spotted gully sharks along the Port Alfred coastline using acoustic telemetry.
