Joshua Fratchet

Growing up by the sea I fell deeply in love with fishing, the sea and all its inhabitants. Every opportunity I got I was doing something related to fish. In my early teen years I began competitive angling of various facets and was eventually rewarded with my protea colours. With having such a passion I wanted to pursue a life that would get me out on the beach, so I started volunteering at the local aquarium and through that learnt about Rhodes University DIFS and as such I began studying Ichthyology and am now busy with my Masters degree and helping many other projects with fieldwork and labwork that needs to be done
